This 1968 Grand Banks 32 Trawler is a semi displacement carvel planked solid mahogany hardwood built trawler. The length is 31'11'' with a beam of 11’05”. Displacement is approx. 17,000 lbs. Propulsion is provided by a smooth running single Ford Lehman 120 HP naturally aspirated marine diesel engine with 7500hrs with many hrs of reliable use left given their reputation. Recently Surveyed May 2024 and hauled out again in May 2026. At this time the Head thru hull was replaced, all other thu hulls were inspeced and are in great condition. Bottom and hull were cleaned and painted, all zincs are new. This vessel has been well maintained by the owner. All defects have been addressed as they have come up. The vessel has been on several trips already this year and is ready to sail. The owner is aging out of yacht ownership and has priced the vessel to sell quickly.
The decks are caulked teak. The flying bridge deck is painted with non skid over wood. There is a canvas enclosure for the aft cockpit area, canvas covers for the flying bridge and windows, and a winter cover. The interior has the chain locker forward with the v berth just aft. The single head is to starboard. The main salon has the main helm to starboard forward and an inline galley to port. There is a dinette to starboard with sea bunks to port at the cabin door. These bunks can be easily switched back and forth to a bench seat . A full-width teak platform is at the transom with a tender on davits. The varnish on the grab rails needs redoing but the vessels overall condition is very good.
